After a failed attempt to get a slot in the rap battle, a segment that featured the likes Yung6ix, Dr SID, Ikechuckwu, Uzi and Ice Prince, singer 2face Idibia,
accompanied by Timaya got on stage to do a freestyle rap at Sound
Sultan’s ’12 years on stage’ concert held at the Harbour Point on
September 15, 2012.
The duo didn’t care much about the
unavailability of beats as Timaya quickly improvised, beat-boxing, to
which 2face freestyled, gearing guests to their feet in appreciation of
the unusual performance. Soon, it was Timaya’s turn and in a likewise
manner, the Port Harcourt born reggae/dance hall singer thrilled guests.
The performance was however short lived as one of the show’s director halted their performance.
