How do you feel about your mum’ s death?

We feel so bad to know that our mum is no more. But who are we to question the Almighty God. Traditionally, we are supposed to bury her and not the other way round. It is just that it happened so soon.. Indeed, her death was a big blow to us.

It was rumoured that you people knew what happened to her?

Then, it is too bad to hear that people are accusing us of being responsible for our mum’s death. We are not blaming anybody. People are free to say what they want to say. We begin to wonder whether there is anything that will ever make us to go for the life of our beloved mother.

Her life cannot be quantified in terms of money or fame. So, our answer to this question is that we have no hand in our mum’s death. We only blame the death that snatched her away from us if not so, people won’t be pointing accusing fingers at us. She died after a brief illness.

Aside your mum’s death, there was another rumour that you guys have joined Illuminati?

We are short of words. Why would anybody say such things about us? Well, the fact remains that we do not belong to any secret cult, whether Illuminati or anything you call it. We owe our achievements and everything that is happening to us to Almighty God.

What prompted you into singing?

I love music and I wanted to do my own thing, to contribute my own music.

You got monstrous negative response to both singles. How did feel with all the attacks?

I listened to my songs over and over again and I told myself I did well. In all I see only the positivity in it,I made History. Peoples opinion of how my music was has further strengthened my belief that dreams die when you let the next man’s opinion get to you and I am using now to pass a message to everyone out there, if you can just do it. Don’t let anyone’s opinion kill whatever dream you have or try to stop you from taking the next step.

You tweeted that you were not giving up. Does that mean you will become actively involved in music?

I love my acting career and I don’t see myself jumping into full time music. I am however shooting the musical video of my songs,I will not let the hating stop me.

You released your song on Wednesday October 17, 2012 and two days later despite the negativity your song had hit 5.2 million download on the internet. How do you feel?

The most unanticipated and hated song became the most talked about,most controversial,most downloaded and of course the most listened song.I feel great Stella, no regrets.!

Karen Igho has managed to stay out of controversy for a while – winning the Big Brother Africa reality show in 2011, picking up a job as an OAP at Naija FM and paying visits to charity homes.

But just like old times, Karen is making the news for the wrong reasons; a couple of her semi-nude pictures have hit the internet and they are rated risque.

Karen recently told her fans on micro-blogging site Twitter that her computer had been hacked into and was scared of some of her ‘private pictures’ leaking.

‘My Computer has been hacked and I have some private pictures. omo my own don set be dat o‘, she tweeted.

A few hours later, a photo of Karen hit the internet – In it, she’s laying down in sexy lingerie, with her nipple almost popping out.

She later on tweeted another picture herself, showing off her bum and a tattoo etched very close to it.

It might just be a PR stunt, according to a friend. ‘Why would Karen say her computer was hacked and then tweet a semi-nude picture of herself?‘, he says.

Yvonne Nelson reacts to skin bleaching Rumours

Popular Ghollywood actor Yvonne Nelson has released a statement denying the recent rumour making rounds, that she has been bleaching her skin, hence her new complexion.
In her statement she claims to understand the dangers of skin bleaching and as such wouldn’t engage in it. Her statement reads:

 ’My attention has been drawn to recent media reports that I am bleaching my skin and the continuous nature of this wicked, unfounded and absolutely unnecessary misinformation have compelled me to once again respond.

These stories are absolutely not true and do not in any way put food on anybody’s table, does not add value to any body’s life and can only be described as mischief.

I fully understand the dangers of skin bleaching and would not engage in any such venture. I am a lady and I appreciate my God-given looks. I do not need to change my skin colour for any reason.

Truth is that even if I was bleaching, I do not owe anyone any explanation, but I am not bleaching, I have not bleached and I won’t bleach.

I love my skin just the way it is and I do my best to keep it healthy and nice.

If God has remained good to me and continues to make my skin nicer, I do not see how it should be a problem to someone.

In a society that largely frowns on skin bleaching, it would be unfair and very unkind to falsely accuse me of bleaching when I am absolutely innocent of that charge.

As an actress I take different pictures under different shades of light and with different shades of makeup depending on what the picture would be used for.

It is therefore not strange to find different pictures of me looking different. It does not mean I am bleaching and one does not need to be an industry player to know this.

Even in movies, depending on who the director is, there are different lighting angles and brightness levels that can be used to make a character look different and this is no secret. Even a change of weather can have an effect of one’s skin.

I want to use this platform to assure all persons who have expressed worry about these reports that there is no cause for alarm because I am not bleaching, have not bleached and would not bleach.

There are more prudent and beneficial things to focus on and these frequent distractions are of no use.

I should have spent this time focusing on my new movies or memorizing my next script and not responding to false gossips’.

This is the first single of M.Marshal, the son of Fuji artist Kwam1.  It will be featured in his debut album called ‘The King’s Legacy’. Beverly Naya denies dating Uti Nwachukwu

Rising Nollywood actress, Beverly Naya has denied reports she’s in a relationship with 2010 BBA winner and show host, Uti Nwachukwu.

Naya expressed her shock on Twitter saying the rumour is not only untrue but misleading too, ‘This Insinuation is laughable..Pls lets not start a rumor…..My boyfriend wasn’t too happy seeing this’, she tweeted.

According to her, her relationship with the 30-year-old is purely professional and with no strings attached, ‘Uti makes me laugh a lot…its always fun and games hanging out with him and nothing more. We are not dating’.

KWAM 1′s kids launch music careers

Like father, like son…and daughter; legendary Fuji singer K1 the Ultimate’s music career has not just affected one or two, but three of his children, who are all following in their father’s footsteps.

All three children – Musty, Sultan and Zainab have been living outside Nigeria; Musty lives in Canada, Sultan in Chicago and Zainab aka Honey B in the UK. They all released their debut singles this year.

In June 2012, Musty dropped his pop-themed single ‘Dance.’ A student at York University, Toronto, he plans on releasing his second album ‘The King’s Legacy’ after his first release ‘Fine Works of Spring.’

Sultan dropped his own debut single ‘Talazo reloaded’ with his father K1. The fast track club sound is a remix of his father’s song ‘Talazo’ and was released in August 2012. Sultan plans on returning to Nigeria to fully pursue a career in music.

Meanwhile, after graduating from The BRIT School of Performing Arts in Croydon, London, where she studied music, Zainab, better known as Honey B says she’s ready to take on the world. Already, she has debuted her first single, also employing the services of Daddy. The upbeat song titled ‘Sempe’ was produced D’Tunes (Kukere – Iyanya).

And if they are feeling any pressure filling the very big shoes of their father, Honey B says for herself;

‘No, not really, because everything I do is from the heart and I believe God is in control. It is pretty cool having my daddy being so successful because I have the best and trusted adviser with real hard earned experience.’

K-Solo rejects wife’s new baby, to marry strange lover

You’ve probably heard about the drama circling Nigerian music producer cum singer Solomon Oyeniyi aka K-Solo, and his now estranged wife Kikelomo. If you haven’t, let’s give you a recap.

In June 2012, Kikelomo granted City People Magazine an interview revealing details of her turbulent relationship with K-Solo.

According to her, the producer had been abusing her since they got married in November 2011. The couple met on Facebook in April 2011, but she says the relationship had always been plagued with lies and infidelity. Despite all this, Kike says when K Solo came begging, she forgave him and they eventually got married.

But the case worsened, Kike says, as K Solo showed his ugly side again, asking her to make him a signatory to her company’s account and to sign over all her property to him. He also continued to physically abuse her, causing her to miscarry. The marriage finally crashed in February 2012, but not before Kike published photos of bruised face, allegedly taken while she was with K-Solo.

Shockingly, the couple reunited in August, granting Channels TV an interview where they claimed to have been ‘just having fun’, pulling a simple prank ‘to know who their real friends were.’ Critics took the revelation with a pinch of salt, with people commenting that Kike must have been put under duress to deny the battery. ‘She was worried about her baby, that’s what she cares for right now’, a source who knows the couple told us.

Back to the present – Dust has been raised once again as just last week, K-Solo posted pictures of himself and another woman on his Facebook account, claiming to be engaged to her. He has deleted old photos of himself and Kike, replacing them with photos of him and his new lover, Bimbo, in each other’s arms.

So what’s happened to Kike and her baby? K-Solo has refused to divulge any information, telling us ‘When it’s time, you will all know the truth and the truth shall set you free. But for now hang on Google’.

Meanwhile, reports say on Friday, October 26, Kikelomo delivered her first child, a baby boy. K-Solo has received congratulatory messages from fans on social networks, Facebook and Twitter but is not responding to them. Instead, he has released a statement, warning websites and blogs not to refer to the ‘deliverer of the baby as K-Solo’s wife.’

The statement reads; ‘We as K-Solo’s Management think it’s should be official and professional for all media blogs and sites to confirm informations of our client tagged name K-SOLO before publishing. The baby deliverer has a name, and not to be tagged as K-Solo’s Wife in any sort of claims or otherwise. If there is any news of such, pictures of K-Solo and the Baby will be officially released and will be delivered rightly. So for any further readdressing, please do not Tag K-Solo in sure news till further notice. Thanks. K-Solo’s Management.’

It’s like a soap opera with no sign of it ending any time soon.

Flavour asks enemies to leave his fiancée alone

Popular highlife artiste Chinedu Okoli aka Flavour is telling those it may concern to leave his fiancée alone. Flavour made this appeal through a track on his recently released album titled ‘Blessed.’

On Wednesday, October 24, 2012, Flavour launched his nightclub in Enugu called, ‘2nite Club’ and his new album ‘Blessed.’ Although it was a successful launch, what seems to have caught the attention of many is a track on the album titled ‘Beverly’ which he dedicated to his fiancée Beverly Heels; the song isn’t just a love song, but also a story, a message and a warning.
The song goes…
‘When I went to America, I met one girl, her name na Beverly. All of a sudden, I get enemies. Within within enemies. Tell Nneka, Tell Onyinye, Tell Benjamin, to leave Beverly alone. What did I do to them? Many bad things dem ma talk about her. Many bad things dem ma write about her. Too many people flex say they know her. Everyday I’m always reading on Twitter, Facebook dem ma talk about the matter, say I wanna take Beverly to altar. Within, Within enemies. Tell Nneka, Tell Onyinye, Tell Benjamin, to leave Beverly alone‘.
We were unable to ascertain the identities of the other names mentioned in the song, as Flavour and his manager were unavailable as at press time.
However, what we do know is that on Valentines day this year, Flavour proposed to his girlfriend Beverly Ngozi Ukegbu, aka Beverly Heels, and a day after, the excited model/singer confirmed the engagement on twitter, saying ‘My best Valentine gift was my engagement ring and something also very special .. Good Night everyone and enjoy tonight #XOXO.’
Flavour’s manager Benjamin later told NET in a telephone conversation that the engagement was indeed true and both artistes were preparing for marriage. He however refused to comment on the rumours that Beverly was pregnant, which many claimed was what she meant by ‘…and something very special’ in her tweet.
The couple allegedly began dating after they met at a gig in Houston, Texas in December 2011, where they both performed separately, and met again in January 2012, when Beverly was said to have paid him a three-week visit.

According to Flavour’s comments in the ‘Beverly’ track, it appears that some people close to the artiste, which also includes his manger Benjamin, are unhappy about his relationship and are trying to break them up. But, he seems to have made up his mind regardless, to marry her and wants them (Nneka, Onyinye and Benjamin) to get off her (Beverly’s) case.

Beverly Heels (aka B.Heels) is aspiring Pop singer who currently resides in Houston, Texas. Her nickname ‘Heels’ was created because she always wears heels.
