Nollywood hunk Jim Iyke has added another year to his age as he celebrates his birthday today Wednesday, September 26, 2012
Iyke was born in Libreville, Gabon but hails Enugu from Agidi village in Anambra State.
He’s the only boy in a family of seven.
After completing his secondary school education at Federal Government College, Kwali, Abuja, he proceeded to the University of Jos where he studied Psychology and received a diploma in Banking and Finance.
He fully kicked started his acting career in 2002 when he starred in the Gabriel Moses directed comedy ‘$1: One Dollar‘. He has gone on to star in over 200 movies.
Often referred to as the ‘bad boy’ of
Nollywood, Iyke has been exposed to quite a number of controversies in
his personal life. He however remains a fan favourite.
He ventured into music in 2009, recording his first single with 2face Idibia and releasing his debut album ‘Who am I‘ under his Untamed Records.
He also created a film production outfit ‘Untamed Productions” and produced two films with internationally.
