WIZKID PARTS WAY WITH MANAGER

2011 Headies Next rated winner, Ayodeji ‘Wizkid ’ Balogun has parted ways with his five year manager Osagie Osarenkhue. Reports say the deal between both parties ended in July 2012, however both have tried to keep the situation under the carpet. In an interview with a weekly new journal, close sources said; “Yes, Osagie and Wizkid have separated. They are no more working together and this happened in July this year, ending a five year working relationship. I can assure you that there was no issue between them. Maybe they felt it’s high time they moved on”; the source said.
You will recall that Osagie introduced to Wizkid to BankyW who later signed him to EME. Osagie who also manages other acts like Dammy Krane, Solidstar, Ghana’s Dee Money and other label mates; Shaydee, Niyola and Youngskales.

Article / News: Ruggedman Speaks on the Controversial Rick Ross “Hold Me Back” (Nigeria) Video

I will start by saying that some people in the international community already have a bad image about Nigeria. This is due to the dubious actions of some bad Nigerians they have encountered, both government officials and normal Nigerians. So I don’t see how one music video shot in the Nigerian slums (which we know we have) will tarnish the image of Nigeria.
When Nigerians go abroad,we snap pictures and make videos all over train stations, car parks, airports. We “choose” where we want to do this. This is the same way Rick Ross decided to shoot his Naija version of his song “Hold Me Back” in Naija ghetto areas. If you check his other version shot in America u will see that it was also in the hood; not as grimmy as ours but still the hood and I don’t hear any American saying he is portraying the slums and poverty in America to the international community.
Rick Ross did not sneak into Nigeria. He came in legally. If he showed anything in the video that some Nigerians find offensive, my question is “why was he allowed to shoot it in the 1st place?”
Someone on the internet said, after this video, no one will like to visit Nigeria. I just laughed. Is this video as bad as the Ogoni 9 killing? Is this video as bad as people being killed in the Northern crisis? But it hasn’t stopped foreigners coming to this country. During the Dana Air crash, local stations were going about their normal business but international news was already covering it. If we cared so much about our image to the international community what are we doing to clean it up?
It’s Nigerians in foreign countries that should check how they act. Once outside Nigeria, you become a Nigerian ambassador and should act like one. If you steal, you are a thief and you paint a bad picture of your country. We really need to get our priorities right. We need to find a way to make our leaders stop embezzling the Nation’s money right under our noses, calling us fools and bullying us.
Now take the situation of the masses in Nigeria e.g no light, education, shelter, good roads, medical care, security and put it beside the Rick Ross video then tell me which is more important to worry about. God bless and save Nigeria, God bless us all in Jesus name. I am a proud Abia man, I am proudly Nigerian and I am Ruggedman.

EVEALING! Smoking Marijuana Relaxes Me - Genevieve Nnaji

According to veteran producer, Charles Novia, Genevieve Nnaji has a secret dirty habit of smoking, which alot of people didnt know about:

Quote
. I remember on the third day of recording, one night while shooting at a clinic in Victoria Garden City Extension, I came out for a bit of fresh air while the technical people were setting up for the next scene. I saw Genevieve in a dark corner of the building, smoking a cigarette. ‘Whoops! You caught me’, she said, laughing. ‘You smoke?’ I asked, a bit surprised. ‘Now and then. It relaxes me ’ she said. ‘Do you smoke?’ ‘Never have. Never will. But I don’t have any problems with people who smoke though. But health wise, I hope you stop soon.’ I replied. ‘I am trying to. Sit with me a bit, lets talk about this scene ’ I sat with her and I explained some few things to her about the scene. We also talked about a bit of her stardom and how she was coping with it. She was in a chatty mood and it was a revealing conversation.

That evening, I saw a vulnerability in her, I had never seen before. This young lady, by a dint of her talent, hard work or fortune, had superstardom thrust upon her and seemed to have no private life anymore. She had become one of the most recognizable faces in the continent and whilst enjoying the adulation, she was also coming to terms with the scrutiny of her Privacy, which was not too palatable to her. I admired her courage and somehow felt that she would go places beyond Nollywood. I remember I told her so. Genevieve was quite particular about make-up. She would spend many minutes, ensuring that her face was well-powdered.

Iyanya Confirms Move to Lekki and Car Purchase

The one-time MTN Project Fame Winner behind the monstrous hit song 'Kukere', Iyanya recently moved to the upscale area of Lagos, Lekki and he has taken delivery of a brand new Range Rover Sport, he confirmed. His new found fame following the success of 'Kukere' and 'Ur waist' has indeed had him smiling to the bank. Whether asked about his new aboard, 'I come from a very humble
background and have also struggled to be
where I am. Since I achieved nothing by my
own strength or might, I don't think it is worth
talking or boasting about,' he says.
'I have come to realise that music is much
more than the act, it is a business. So, the best thing any artiste can do for him or herself, is to continually reinvent. If I keep appearing or dressing the way I used to five years ago, my fans would be bored,' he added.
He also spoke about the widely reported affair
with actress Yvonne Nelson: "Since they say
we are dating, and then we are dating. There is nothing I can say as far as that is concerned
since people have already formed an
impression. My answer is simply – no
comment"
