CUTE! Funke and Femi Kuti at Sound Sultan’s anniversary concert in September 2012..

It’s easy to liken that statement to the relationship between our very own Afrobeat singer Femi Kuti and former wife Funke Kuti;
the ‘couple’ was recently spotted at Sound Sultan’s anniversary concert
looking like an item. In the picture above, Femi plants a kiss on
Funke’s cheeks as she laughs, her face beaming with pleasure.
In June, Funke was also part of the main organizers that put together the Afrobeat singer’s 50th birthday gig held at the New Afrika Shrine. Funke had joined Femi on stage while their only song Made played the piano.
On June 29, however, a Lagos Court officially ended the marriage between the two.
